Joys Revisited

Joys Revisited

So, lately, I've been on this wild journey of self-discovery, and let me tell you, it's been quite a ride!

First off, let's talk about creativity. I've always been into writing, especially poetry. But here's the thing: my old poems were all about pain and suffering. They served their purpose, helping me through some tough times, but I realized I was stuck in this cycle of negativity. After reading The White Book, I made a conscious decision to switch things up. Instead of dwelling on the dark stuff, I started slowly writing about the things that make me happy – like sunsets, laughter, special people, and all things pink. It's been like a breath of fresh air, a liberation from the shadows. I'm now putting together a collection of poems that celebrate life's little joys, and I can't wait to share them with you.

And speaking of joy, I've also rekindled my love for reading. I mean, they've always been there for me, patiently waiting on the shelf while life got in the way. But now? Now, I'm diving headfirst into those pages, getting lost in worlds both familiar and new. There's something so comforting, so wonderfully escapist about getting lost in a good story. It's like taking a mini-vacation without ever leaving your couch. I'm discovering new worlds and new perspectives and learning more about myself each day.

But the best part of this whole journey has been the connections I've made along the way. I've been reaching out to people who share my interests, and connecting with like-minded souls has been excellent. We've been swapping book recommendations, sharing our chikas, and supporting each other on this crazy ride called life. It's funny how a simple conversation can brighten your day and remind you that you're not alone in this world. I'm so grateful for each and every one of them, and I'm excited to continue this journey together.

So yeah, that's where I'm now – embracing growth, rediscovering my passions, and soaking up all the good vibes. It's not always easy, and there are days when I stumble and fall. That's all part of the journey, right? As long as I keep moving forward, I know I'm heading in the right direction.

Thanks for listening to my little ramble, my lovely readers. Here's to chasing dreams, finding joy in the small things, and never giving up on ourselves.
