I’ve been quiet since March, not by choice, but because life had other plans. Between losing sight of my original project goals, diving deeply into renewed progress for my career, and navigating personal challenges, I realized I needed a pause.
But pauses, I’ve come to realize, are absolutely essential. They provide the clarity and perspective we often overlook in the rush of daily life, serving as gentle reminders to realign with our truest selves. So, I decided to take a step back, carving out time for deep reflection, and I hit the reset button (again) on my journey.
Now, I feel genuinely excited about the possibilities that lie ahead, not out of necessity but out of enthusiasm, in the second half of 2025. With renewed energy and focus, I’m determined to transform my goals and dreams into reality, embracing each opportunity with deliberate intention and purpose, one thoughtfully planned step at a time.
Reflecting on my goals from January, I’m really impressed by how much I’ve accomplished. I didn’t think I would end up where I am now, which shows that even small efforts can lead to big changes. I feel thankful for the progress I’ve made, the insights I’ve gained, and the joy I’ve found along the way. It’s fulfilling to take a moment to appreciate just how much growth can happen in just a few months.
The past few months have also been dotted with memorable moments and meaningful milestones:
April brought me to Cebu for a quick, rejuvenating vacation. It was a much-needed escape that allowed me to breathe deeply, reconnect with myself, and appreciate the simpler joys in life. The brief adventure rekindled my spirit and reminded me of the beauty of taking breaks.
May was filled with delightful outings like wonderful dinners with dear friends, and tranquil solo coffee dates that I've grown to cherish deeply. These quiet moments offered precious space to reflect, read, and simply enjoy my own company, helping me find balance amid the chaos.
June marked a significant personal milestone: finally securing an Occupational Therapy slot for my daughter. This was a moment of great relief, hope, and anticipation, opening a new chapter of growth, development, and countless possibilities for her. It reminded me that patience, persistence, and optimism truly do pay off.
As I look ahead to the rest of 2025, I am setting intentions to navigate my life more sustainably and deliberately. I aim to ensure that my actions, choices, and aspirations are thoughtfully considered, purposeful, and truly aligned with my values and the life I envision.
I choose where to spend my energy, time, and resources. By doing this, I want to create a richer and more fulfilling experience in every part of my life.
